Module 4: Impact Assessment of Climate Policies

Module 4, developed in collaboration with the UNDP, covers the diverse topics in policy impact assessment, including the concept of policy impact assessments, common terms used in impact assessments, different methods for assessments, models used for assessments, and data requirement for conducting assessments. The module also introduces how to evaluate and communicate the results of the assessment.

 

By the end of this module, learners are expected to be able to:

  • Describe a range of methodologies used to assess the economic, social, and environmental impacts of climate policies.
  • Understand the role of modelling interfaces to simulate and evaluate the impacts of climate policies across diverse socioeconomic scenarios.
  • Start interpreting and evaluating the findings of impact assessment of climate policies.
