The objective of this case study is to explore, from a community perspective, climate impacts and their implications in terms of the loss and damage occurring in the community of Cahuita on Costa Rica’s southern Caribbean coast. The community is recognized as the authorized base unit to lead an assessment of the loss and damage caused by climate change
