DNA Virtual Workshop Series: First Session
RCC Bangkok Virtual DNA workshop

25th June 2020 - In response to requests for training received from Designated National Authorities (DNAs) of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), UN Climate Change’s Regional Collaboration Centres (RCCs) in Bangkok and Dubai are jointly organizing a series of DNA Virtual Workshops on topics of interest for DNAs in the region with the support of our host partners the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) and the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO).

The first session of the DNA Virtual Workshop was successfully held on the 25th of June 2020 and focused on the role of DNAs in the Modalities of Communication (MoC) and Letters of Approval (LoA) processes. DNA representatives from over 15 countries, from Southeast Asia and South Asia to Central Asia and the Middle East and North Africa, joined the first session.

The first episode is part of a series of virtual workshops designed to meet the demand coming from DNAs for training on various topics relevant to them.

The second session of the workshop is planned to take place towards the end of July 2020 with a focus on various uses of standardized baselines.
