Abstract

This report provides a summary of the first workshop under the work programme to further the understanding of the diversity of nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs) by developing country Parties, underlying assumptions and any support needed for implementation of these actions. The workshop was held in Warsaw, Poland, on 11 and
12 November 2013, during the thirty-ninth session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation. The workshop provided an overview of the agreed outcome in relation to NAMAs, implementation updates from developing country Parties, an overview of available information on NAMAs and an overview of support needs, and focused discussion on the development of baselines for NAMAs and on financial support for NAMAs
