In a communication to the secretariat dated 10 March 2011, the Democratic Republic of Congo on behalf of the African Group made a request to include an item on the provisional agenda of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) at its fourteenth session. In accordance with rule 12 of the draft rules of procedure being applied, and in agreement with the Chair, this item is included in this supplementary provisional agenda below as item 10
