A request has been received from Saudi Arabia to include an item in the provisional agenda of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) at its sixteenth session on the implementation of Article 2, paragraph 3, of the Kyoto Protocol. In accordance with rule 12 of the draft rules of procedure being applied and with the agreement of the Chairman of the SBSTA, this item is being included as item 10 (c) of the supplementary provisional agenda below
