President of COP 22 consulted on behalf of President of COP 23 on accelerating the implementation of the pre-2020 commitments and actions and increasing the pre-2020 ambition in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 of decision 1/CP.19.

Open-ended consultations took place on Wednesday, 8 November from 18:00-20:00 in Plenary room New York.
A second and third open-ended consultations took place on Friday, 10 November from 18:50-20:10 in Plenary room New York and on Saturday, 11 November from 12:20-13:50 in room Rakiraki, respectively.

The President of COP 23 will consult with the President of COP 22 further on the way forward.

President of COP 22 consulted on behalf of President of COP 23 on gateway to encourage, measure, report, verify and account for greater ambition from corporate entities, investors, regions, states/provinces, cities and civil society organizations.

Open-ended consultations took place on Thursday, 9 November from 18:00-19:00 in Plenary room New York.

The President of COP 23 will consult with the President of COP 22 further on the way forward.
