The NAP implementation support subgroup supports work on the technical guidelines and advice for the implementation of NAPs, accessing funding from the GCF and other sources, capturing and sharing best practices and lessons learned in developing and scaling up adaptation projects, and cataloguing priority project ideas from LDCs.
Scope of work
- Providing framing and writing support for the drafting of project ideas and project concepts to access funding for the implementation of priorities identified in NAPs.
- Supporting the LDCs on mobilizing delivery partners for their adaptation projects;
- Enhancements to make NAPs more ready for implementation;
- Developing and advising on strategies to engage a wider set of stakeholders, including bilateral agencies, private sector and other actors, to support NAP implementation.
