The Global Climate Action (GCA) closing event will convene multi-sectoral non-State actors on Thursday 21 November to close the Action Agenda at COP 29. The event intends to highlight the achievements, announcements and outcomes of the Action Agenda, as well as celebrating the hard work of the Marrakech Partnership, Climate Champions Team and other non-State actors in delivering a compelling programme at COP 29, as well as for their efforts over the past year. The event will also reflect on the critical work that is still needed and create a spirit of solidarity and collaboration as we prepare for COP30 and the road ahead.

The event will be a space for colleagues, partners and collaborators to celebrate and say farewell to the UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP28, as well as hearing from H.E. Razan Al Mubarak, as she reflects on her tenureship and shares words of encouragement for the work ahead.
