Background

Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI)’s mission is to build local skills for peace and promote mediation worldwide. Recognizing that the only lasting peace is the one built by those involved, MBBI advances the objectives of its 134 global partners by delivering and teaching skills for evidence-based context assessment, trauma-informed peacebuilding, post-conflict reconciliation and recovery, cross sector and network collaboration, project design, implementation, evaluation, and peacebuilding leadership.

The New Generation Leaders (TNGL) is a visionary organization committed to bridging the gap between people, the planet, and sustainable growth. Its primary focus is on capacity-building, specifically targeting youth, children, and women. TNGL recognizes that empowering these segments of the population is crucial for addressing climate change and fostering sustainable development. TNGL's unwavering dedication to climate action, human rights, and inclusivity is the driving force behind its visionary mission. TNGL aims to address the critical need for a rights-based approach in climate action. Aligned with SDGs 1, 2, 5, 8, 13, and 17, TNGL recognizes the intersection of climate change, human rights, and mental health.

  • Accentuated Inclusivity by highlighting participatory strategies that give marginalized groups—such as indigenous communities, young people, people with disabilities, and proponents of gender rights— the ability to act as change agents.
