In December 2022, the PCCB published its Technical paper on enhancing the ownership of developing countries of building and maintaining capacity for climate action. The paper presents findings on experiences, good practices and lessons learned from Party and non-Party stakeholders with regard to enhancing country ownership of building and maintaining capacity as well as recommendations for how to address these challenges.
In an effort to disseminate the technical paper at a regional level and reach wider audiences, at the 6th meeting of the PCCB in 2022, PCCB members and observers noted they would welcome the translation of the technical paper into different official United Nations languages. In light of this, we are excited to announce that three PCCB Network members, Climate Change Africa Opportunities (CCAO), Jóvenes Contra el Calentamiento Global (JCCG), and the Centre for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE), have translated the technical paper into French, Spanish, and Arabic, respectively to reach a wider range of audiences across regions.
