This module provides guidance on achieving just transition of the workforce and creating decent work and quality jobs.

By the end of this module, learners are expected to be able to:

• Explain the concept and evolution of just transition and its relevance for climate action, decent work and sustainable development.
• Identify key policy processes and tools, including social dialogue, stakeholder engagement, and planning approaches, for implementing just transitions.
• Assess how just transition considerations can be integrated into climate policies and response measures, including NDCs, financing mechanisms and monitoring frameworks.
