Registration is now open for the Seventh Global Conference on Climate and SDG Synergies, to take place on 29-30 June 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Amid escalating geopolitical tensions, the world is facing an unprecedented convergence of challenges — rising energy costs driven by conflict, intensifying climate impacts and natural disasters, environmental degradation, and slowing growth with mounting debt burdens. These crises are deeply interconnected, and so too must be the solutions.

Recognizing these interconnected crises, this year’s Conference will focus on practical ways to address multiple challenges, and translate integrated and synergistic planning into coordinated implementation, building on the outcomes of the Sixth Global Conference and informed by the work of the Expert Group on Climate and SDG Synergy.

The Conference will bring together ministers, policymakers, practitioners, international organizations, the private sector, civil society and youth to exchange practical experiences, country case studies and policy solutions that advance integrated action to address  climate, environment and sustainable development challenges.

The two-day event is co-convened by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat, in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).

Organized back-to-back with the ninth session of the ESCAP Committee on Environment and Development, the Conference will further strengthen linkages between global commitments and regional action, particularly across the Asia-Pacific region.
