On 27 January 2016, the Canada Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC) broadcasted a memorial in Ottawa for the late diplomat and environmentalist Maurice Strong. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, former prime minister Paul Martin, and former governor general Adrienne Clarkson, among others, deliver remarks honouring Strong's life and accomplishments.
