This informal session is jointly organized by the Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG) and the NAP Global Network, with support from the Gender Team at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat.

The objective of the session is to seek views and inputs, from UNFCCC Parties and observers, on the development of supplementary guidelines on gender-responsiveness in the process of formulating and implementing national adaptation plans.

Brief presentations from the organisers will be followed by an interactive component where participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives.
