COP 30 notifications and direct messages

The secretariat offers multiple ways for participants to be notified about key aspects of the COP 30 conference. This page gives an overview of the features on offer and how participants can subscribe.

For live postings of news and events please also check out the live blog section of the COP 30 main conference web page and the announcements on the daily programme page.

These official messages are sent by email to designated focal points, and also published on this page. This type of notification generally – but not exclusively – refers to sessions of the Convention, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement, intersessional meetings and workshops. They also include communications sent on behalf of COP Presidents, Chairs of the subsidiary bodies and Climate Champions.

Visit the official communications to Parties and Observers page

Sign up to receive push notifications that appear on your web browser or, if you are registered participant, download the COP 30 event platform app to sign up. These notifications point to key news and event information as well as conveying important alerts and logistical updates during the Belém Climate Change Conference. On the app, you can also sign up to receive notifications when key documents are published.

Visit the preference centre on this website to change your push notification subscription.
Please note that some browsers and devices require additional settings to allow pop up notifications.

The secretariat is piloting a service that allows participants to be notified by email when in-session documents are issued. The sign-up form allows users to choose to be alerted about documents relating to specific agenda items and topics of interest. Use this form to sign-up.
