Background

Organized as a part of the #Together4Transparency series of events at COP28, this event aims to celebrate two important milestones achieved in the area of transparency, including 25 years of the CGE in assisting developing countries in implementing the transparency arrangements under the Convention and the Paris Agreement, and the certification of new technical experts under the Paris Agreement.

The event aims to engage high-level participants to recognize the importance of transparency both internationally and nationally, and also highlight the key role of technical experts in the transparency process to effective implementation of the Paris Agreement.
