Event description

As part of “Together4Transparency” at COP27, the event will feature a conversation between developing country Party representatives and international organizations mostly committed in supporting developing countries in applying for funding and implementing projects for adaptation in agriculture sectors on the ground. Specifically, panelists will illustrate, from their diverse perspectives and experiences, the gaps, challenges and success stories in assessing and evaluating adaptation measures, experiences and opportunities for improvement from field-implementation. The discussion will make the case of the importance to foster reporting on adaptation-related issues, including through the reporting guidance developed for climate change impacts and adaptation as part of the Biennial Transparency Report (BTR), highlighting expected benefits.
