The Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo announced a pledge of EUR 1 million (USD 1.05 million) to the Green Climate Fund. The pledge was announced during a meeting between Mayor Hidalgo and Héla Cheikhrouhou, the Fund’s Executive Director, at the Paris Hôtel de Ville (City Hall). Paris is currently hosting the UNFCCC climate conference (COP 21)
