Biography – Darius Nassiry
As a Senior Research Associate with the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), Darius contributes to ODI’s policy research on infrastructure finance, renewable energy, disruptive technologies and leveraging private capital for climate investments. He also serves as an advisor with Climate Bonds Initiative.
He previously held roles with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), the Norwegian Investment Fund for Developing Countries (Norfund), the Center for Global Development (CGD), and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Earlier he worked as an investment banker in the energy and utilities sector in New York, London, and Tokyo. He also served as a Foreign Service Officer in Mexico and Kenya. He graduated from Carleton College and holds a Master’s degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He is currently based in Sweden.
