In Lima, the ADP requested the secretariat to continue the technical examination of opportunities with high mitigation potential and significant co-benefits in the period 2015–2020 by organizing the in-session technical expert meetings (TEMs).

During the June session, the technical examination will focus on opportunities to promote the supply on renewable energy. The meeting will assist Parties to advance in the implementation of good practice policy options and technologies, involve UNFCCC institutions and leading international organizations, and engage with a broad range of stakeholders. The discussion will build on the technical expert meeting on renewable energy held in March 2014.
