Asking COP27 youth participants: what does "ETF" stand for? (from YOUNGO)

 

Event description

As part of #Together4Transparency at COP27, the main purpose of this event will be highlighting the importance and benefits of transparency, while discussing the key elements and linkages of the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) in the broader architecture of the Paris Agreement, including by showcasing what climate data and information is important for the development, implementation and monitoring of low carbon, resilient and fair sustainable development strategies. The event will also aim to discuss how to mainstream transparency across society, while identifying professional opportunities for youth to work in the field and to get involved as experts. Moreover, the event will gather the unique perspectives and experiences of young experts from their past or current engagement in transparency-related processes and activities.
