Maritim, Bonn, Germany
10 - 14 August 2009
The one week meeting, held at the Maritim in Bonn from 10 to 14 August, was of an informal nature, open to all participants, in order to promote progress on a number of issues under the work programme of the AWG-KP for 2009, and leading up to Copenhagen in December.
Substantive discussions took place in informal settings, considering issues similar to those addressed at the eighth session of the AWG-KP. These discussions were based upon documentation to facilitate negotiations among Parties, building upon the work of the AWG-KP at its eighth session.
Given the informal nature of the meetings, there was no report. Progress made with regard to the documentation to facilitate negotiations among Parties will be captured in revisions to the document FCCC/KP/AWG/2009/10 and Add. 1, 3 and 4.
