A briefing on support for domestic preparations for intended nationally determined contributions took place during the eighth part of the second session of the ADP (ADP 2-8) on 9 February 2015. The objective of the briefing was to update Parties on progress in delivering existing support, and also inform Parties of other new sources of support for the preparation of INDCs.

Previous related events 
At the ADP March session 2014, an in-session workshop was organized with the objective of providing a space for Parties to share experiences and learn from each other on approaches, processes, constraints and challenges relating to the preparation of INDCs.
At the ADP session in October 2014, a briefing event was organized with the objective to highlighting case studies on cooperation and support in relation to the support for the preparation of INDCs.
