Description:

The event will show how to apply the updated UNFCCC NAP Technical Guidelines in how the GGA framework can be integrated into NAPs, and how financing and implementation can support resilience-building by 2030 and beyond. Technical sessions will work through the guidelines, enriched by peer-exchanges.

Objectives:

1. Demonstrate application of the updated UNFCCC NAP Technical Guidelines in aligning the GGA framework in the formulation and implementation of NAPs
2. Advance the design of adaptation portfolios in the financing and implementation of NAPs in the Asia-Pacific region
3. Conduct deep dives into selected topics under each GGA theme as well as the application of AI in NAPs
4. Facilitate peer exchanges in successful financing and implementation of NAP priorities

Expected outcomes:

Increased uptake of latest NAP guidance and stronger focus on implementation of NAPs
