Event description

The event is meant to bridge the knowledge and awareness gaps among the press on the benefits and linkages of transparency matters in the architecture of the UNFCCC process. The event will involve journalists covering COP27 with a view to discussing the challenges and opportunities in communicating climate data to the general public, to open up the transparency process to much wider audiences. The event will also generate capacity among the regional press, especially journalists who may be lacking time and resources to get specialized in transparent climate action and support.
