The Marrakech Partnership aims to spur higher ambition from all actors – across sectors and geographies – to meet the aims of the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals.
To that end, the Marrakech Partnership has three principle avenues to engage the ‘real world’ with a view to broadening connections with those actors directly involved in implementing the Paris Agreement. These are:
Collectively, this network shines a spotlight on governments, cities, states, business, civil society and multilateral organizations, that are taking collaborative and transformational action, including by aligning with national climate plans, enhancing pre-2020 ambition, and unlocking financial flows.
