5 September 2019 - Bangkok, Thailand
Asia-Pacific is the single largest region contributing to the emissions of carbon dioxide, being responsible for approx. 40% of global emissions. As part of their approaches to reduce emissions, a number of jurisdictions in the region are exploring the adoption of carbon pricing instruments.
RCC Bangkok organized a session during Asia-Pacific Climate Week 2019 which took stock of current trends in Asia-Pacific in the development of carbon pricing approaches. To this end, experiences from different jurisdictions across the region were shared and discussed.
