Sharing good practises and lessons learned is an endeavour supported by the secretariat thus far through the organization of side events. The fourteenth session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice noted their appreciation of such efforts and it encouraged "a wider dissemination through the development of web sites, clearing houses and resource centres, in cooperation with relevant organizations".

The following selections have been developed in the interest of providing a place at which experiences shared at fora such as side events, meetings of the consultative group of experts, workshops can be brought to the attention of all Parties, whether or not they attended such fora. This option also provides the place where analysis derived from the synthesis of information from the national communications of information related to Article 6 may be shared.
