genderCC - women for climate justice e.V. (GenderCC)
The stand will provide information on the GenderCC network, on gender in the UNFCCC and how gender responsive mitigation and adaptation policies can look like. The organisation currently focus on urban climate policy and will also present its current project as well as a new assessment methodology.

This exhibit will feature daily updates on the ongoing negotiations, and materials on a variety of issues critical to addressing climate change and sustainable development issues

World Food Programme (WFP)
Climate action to address loss and damage of vulnerable populations and build resilience
The Paris Agreement stresses the importance of climate action to reduce loss and damage. How to boost action to anticipate, absorb and reshape for climate resilience (along the UNSG A2R) will be discussed including forecast-based financing and integrated risk management.

A principles-based transition: promoting rights while protecting the climate
The Paris Agreement recognised the importance for climate policies to respect and promote human rights, gender equality, a just transition and food security. Good practices must be shared and replicated to promote this holistic and empowering vision of the transition.

This event aims to provide information on black carbon’s impact on climate and health, and clarity on the scientific rationale for countries to include black carbon as a regulated (and measured) emission in national (and local) air quality regulations and standards.
