Views on the possible need for a group of experts and the role that they could have in the implementation and further development of the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change. Submissions from Parties.
The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its twenty-fifth session, invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by 21 September 2007, their views on the possible need for a group of experts and the role that they could have in the implementation and further development of the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability, and adaptation to climate change (FCCC/SBSTA/2006/11, para. 28). The SBSTA requested the secretariat to compile these submissions into a miscellaneous document for consideration at its twenty-seventh session, with a view to making recommendations, as appropriate (FCCC/SBSTA/2006/11, para. 29). The secretariat has received ten such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproducedâ in the language in which they were received and without formal editing.
