Template on cross-cutting themes in national communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention. Note by the Chair of the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention.

The template is based on the guidelines for the preparation of national communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (decision 17/CP.8). It aims to facilitate the reporting of information on research and systematic observation, technology transfer, capacity-building, education, training and public awareness, and information and networking in the national communications. The template suggests possible information that Parties may provide, subject to the availability of data, under the section "Other information considered relevant to the achievement of the objective of the Convention" in the national communications
