The Subsidiary Body for Implementation, at its tenth session, invited Parties experiencing difficulties with submitting greenhouse gas inventories in a timely manner to provide submissions to the secretariat by 1 August 1999 describing the nature of these difficulties (FCCC/SBI/1999/8, para.17 (b)).
