This report contains a compilation of case studies on national adaptation planning processes, including tools and approaches used for the prioritization and implementation of adaptation actions. The report focuses on existing strategies and plans that some countries have developed to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change, including on elements of the prioritization and implementation of adaptation activities. It also provides a synthesis of relevant additional examples of adaptation planning and practices undertaken in other countries, which were reported under the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change.
