Course A: General and cross-cutting aspects for the technical expert review under the enhanced transparency framework under the Paris Agreement

The lessons in the course will give you an overview of the enhanced transparency framework (ETF) and its cross-cutting principles. Course A is mandatory for all experts to participate in the technical expert review (TER). It will take between 4 to 8 hours to complete this course. Below you will find the 5 lessons that will help you understand the key concepts and principles of the ETF.

Registration for the 3rd examination period is open until 9 June 2024

If you have finished “Course A: General and cross-cutting aspects for the technical expert review" and your nomination to the UNFCCC Roster of Experts if approved by the National Focal Point, you are ready to register for the examination period which will take place from 24 Jun to 7 Jul 2024. Please register before 9 June 2024 for the exam you would like to take using this link. No registrations will be accepted after the deadline has passed. We encourage you not to take more than 3 exams per examination period, there will be many examination opportunities during 2024.
