The issue of Climate Change at an institutional level is dealth with by the National Climate Change Committee (NCCC). The NCCC was established in august 1992 with the approval of the President of Seychelles. The NCCC which meets every quarter of a year, consists of representatives from various relevant ministies, parastatal institutions and non-Governmaental Organizations (NGO) with representatives from the Meteorological Services and the Environment Division as co-chairmen.
