General Information

In order to improve national communications (NCs) and the Biennial Update Reports (BURs) from developing country Parties through technical advice and support, in 1999 the COP established the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from non-Annex I Parties (CGE). The strategies cover the areas of technical support and advice, operational management, communication and outreach, as well as collaboration and cooperation with other global initiatives.
