Sub-course B.4: Technical review of national inventory reports – Agriculture sector

Sub-course 4 covers the key actions and elements of technical review of the agriculture sector in the national GHG inventory. This course is composed of eight lessons. Each subsequent lesson summarizes the methodological background, key reporting and review elements, and possible actions by the TERT in its review of emissions from the agriculture sector. It will take approximately 465 minutes for less experienced readers (230 minutes for experienced readers) to complete this sub-course.

Sub-course B4 has eight lessons:

  • Lesson 2: Reviewing the agricultural sector inventory
  • Lesson 3: Enteric fermentation
  • Lesson 4: Manure management
  • Lesson 5: Agriculture soils
  • Lesson 6: Rice cultivation
  • Lesson 7: Prescribed burning of savannas and field burning of agricultural residues
  • Lesson 8: Liming and urea application to soils
