Investing in Climate for Growth and Development: The Case for Enhanced NDCs |
A joint OECD-UNDP project, supported by the German Government, provides new evidence on the economic and development benefits of ambitious, implementable and investable NDCs and how they can be delivered. Follow-up work is underway to translate the global findings to the national level in selected countries with tailored analysis on the economic case for accelerated climate action and to support NDC implementation.

WMO provides coordinated guidance on how countries can access the best available climate science information, tools and technical guidance to ensure NDCs are based on science, integrate the science-related outcomes of the GST, and inform the preparation of 1.5°C-aligned NDCs. WMO supports the national NDC drafting teams to access the best available climate science information, tools, and technical guidance to facilitate the generation, interpretation, tailoring and use of climate information in support of climate action policy decisions, including NDCs.
The WMO Secretariat has established a Helpdesk to respond to questions and queries on climate science information and services related to NDC 3.0.
