Composition of the Committee

The Committee consists of 12 members, with 2 members each from the five regional groups of the United Nations and 1 member each from the small island developing states (SIDS) and the least developed countries (LDCs), taking into account the goal of gender balance. It is custom-designed to facilitate parties´ effective implementation of and compliance with the provisions of the Agreement.
