The UNFCCC secretariat had its first working meeting with the COP 26 Presidency team in London on Tuesday, 4 February. 

The secretariat team, led by the Executive Secretary Patricia Espinosa, had a very useful day-long meeting with the COP 26 Presidency team, advancing on preparations for COP 26, including a review of mandates for COP 26, procedural aspects of running a COP and the roadmap to Glasgow.

The Executive Secretary also met with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and participated in the COP 26 Launch event.
