NDC Spotlight - Boosting Climate Finance in Latin America and the Caribbean

As part of a new NDC Spotlight webinar series on Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), we invite you to participate in our upcoming session - 10 minutes with an expert, this time with IDB on “NDC invest” on 28 September at 14:00 CST.

“NDC Invest” is a one-stop shop for countries to access resources for transforming their national commitments into achievable investments plans. It is led by the Inter-American Development Bank.

NDCs are a key tool for implementing the Paris Climate Change Agreement.  They are national climate plans, which highlight climate actions, including climate-related targets, policies and measures that governments aim to implement in response to climate change and are a contribution to global climate action.

In the online dialogue, Dr. Amal-Lee Amin, Chief of the Climate Change and Sustainability Division at the Inter-American Development Bank, will introduce NDC Invest and provide all relevant information regarding the initiative.

The NDC Spotlight webinar series was established to create a forum to discuss the various aspects of the NDCs. All interested stakeholders are invited to join in the discussion. The series focuses upon delivering a short, interactive discussion within the context of three different discussion areas. The areas include 10 minutes with a country, 10 minutes with an expert or 10 minutes with the UNFCCC.

You can find the recordings to all previous NDC Spotlight webinars, including the presentations on our YouTube channel.
