16. Gender and climate change.
Abstract

The Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) at its forty-fourth session expressed its support for the continuation and enhancement of the Lima work programme on gender.1 The SBI invited Parties and observer organizations to submit their views on possible elements and guiding principles for continuing and enhancing the work programme, by 29 August 2016, taking into account recommendations and insights resulting from activities already completed under the work programme. The SBI requested the secretariat to compile those submissions into a miscellaneous document. The secretariat has received 17 such submissions. In accordance with the procedure for miscellaneous documents, these submissions are attached and reproduced* in the languages in which they were received and without formal editing.
