This report covers the activities and performance of the Katowice Committee of Experts on the Impacts of the Implementation of Response Measures (KCI) at its 8^th and 9^th meetings. It also contains information on the meetings of the KCI and possible recommendations for consideration by the forum on the impact of the implementation of response measures with a view to the forum recommending actions to the Conference of the Parties at its twenty-eighth session, the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol at its eighteenth session and the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement at its fifth session, as well as information on the strategy to organize the implementation of the KCI workplan on the basis of the workplan of the forum and its KCI.
