1. The attached list of participants attending the fourth session of the Conference of the Parties held from 2 to13 November 1998 has been prepared on the basis of information received by the secretariat as at 11 November 1998.



2. The non-governmental organization which is listed with one asterisk (*) has been admitted only to the fourth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 4). This organization is invited to re-apply after COP 4, should it wish to continue to participate in the Convention process.
