The attached provisional list of participants in the second session of the Conference of the Parties has been prepared on the basis of information received by the secretariat as at

3 July 1996.

The list is arranged in alphabetical order by delegation and grouped in sections, as follows:

-Parties

-Observer States

-United Nations Secretariat units and bodies

-Specialized agencies of the United Nations and related organizations

-Intergovernmental organizations

-Non-governmental organizations

A revised final list of participants will be issued on Friday, 19 July 1996, taking into account additional information received by the secretariat in the course of the sessional period, including any corrections submitted during that time. Corrections should be given to Ms. Laurence Pollier (at the registration desk or office E-3025) by 12 noon on Wednesday, 17 July, at the latest.
