Draft conclusions by the Chairman

1. The Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) took note of the relevant conclusions of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) at its eleventh session, and of a draft decision for submission to the Conference of the Parties (COP) on revisions to the guidelines for the preparation of national communications by Parties included in Annex I to the Convention, part II: UNFCCC reporting guidelines on national communications, contained in document FCCC/SBSTA/1999/CRP.4.

2. The SBI agreed to recommend the draft decision referred to above for adoption by the COP at its fifth session.
