All the special events scheduled are subject to the requirements of the negotiating process and the availability of rooms and consequently may have to be cancelled at short notice

The tentative schedule of Special Events is as of 7 October 1998 and includes the schedule for Monday to Friday of both weeks of the fourth session of the Conference of the Parties. This table will be expanded to include a schedule of events on Saturday, 7 November 1998, when there will be a series of special events from 9:00 am.

A list of exhibits will be added once the exhibit details are confirmed. Exhibitors should expect no more than the standard size (2m long, 2 m high, 1.5m wide), given the high demand for exhibit space and the limited area available.

The schedule of special events and the list of exhibits are fully booked and so organizations who have been unsuccessful in booking an event or an exhibit are advised to contact kindred organizations already on the list with a view to collaborating. Cooperative endeavours and voluntary reductions are encouraged.
