1. This document contains an updated directory of participants at the first session of the Conference of the Parties, including information that was received by the secretariat up to 5 April 1995.

2. The directory contains detailed address information for each participant, and is arranged in alphabetical order by delegation and grouped in sections, as follows:

- Parties

- Observer States

- United Nations Secretariat units and bodies

- Specialized agencies and other organizations of the United Nations system

- Intergovernmental organizations

- Non-governmental organizations

3. An index of participants, in alphabetical order, is included in the last section of this document, for easy reference.

4. Corrections to this directory should be sent to Ms. Marielos Izaguirre of the Convention secretariat (UNFCCC, Palais des Nations, CH-1211 Geneva 10, Switzerland or Fax:(41-22)979-9034). Any updates and corrections to this list will appear as a corrigendum issued to this document after the Conference.

5. Participants are invited to note a new addition to the directory of participants: the statistics for attendance at COP 1 shown on the next page. The figures were extracted from the participants database operated by the Convention secretariat; these reflect letters of accreditation received up to 5 April 1995.
