The regional collaborations Centres WAC Africa, EAS Africa and RCC MENA and SA co-hosted a Long-Term Low Emission and Climate Resilient Development Strategies Landscape in Africa side event on 7 September 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya.

To that end, they partnered with the African Group of Negotiators Experts Support (AGNES) and Climate Analytics in undertaking the study.

This side event aimed to present preliminary results of LT-LEDS landscape study in Africa on the state of play, challenges, and opportunities for LT-LEDS development and implementation. It also shared shared best practices and experiences among countries on benefits, gaps, and constraints in developing and implementing NDCs.
